The University of Kerala (UoK) (formerly known as the University of Travancore) is a public university located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The university was established in the year 1937, making it the first university of Kerala. Kerala University Distance MBA Eligibility Criteria/Age Limit 2020
The eligibility criteria established by the University for Admission in Distance MBA programme are as follows:
- The Candidate must have passed the BA/BSc/B Com degree examination of the Kerala University or equivalent from any recognized university.
- The Candidate must have achieved a minimum 50 percent marks in the Bachelor’s degree course in aggregate.
- For all the candidates belonging to SC/ST category, mere passing marks in the qualifying degree in enough.
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any registered board such as CBSE, ICSE or state board

Kerala University Distance MBA Application Procedure 2020
Before applying for the courses offered by the university, the candidate must ensure that they meet with the eligibility criteria laid by the University of Kerala. At any stage of admission, if the candidate is found ineligible for the course or has fabricated the information to become eligible, their candidature will be rejected, and he may be barred for future admission.
The Admission procedure is as follows:
- The Candidate interested in admission in the distance MBA programme offered by the University of Kerala will have to apply to the School of distance education.
- The eligible candidates will undergo the selection process, including group discussion and Personal Interview at the School of Distance Education.
- Total weightage of the selection process will be 100, distributed as follows:
- Marks in qualifying degree – 80
- Interview- 10
- Group Discussion- 10
- The rank list will be prepared as per the overall scores of each candidate.
