NMAT Overview
NMAT or NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is conducted by GMAC (Graduate Management Aptitude Council) for admission towards various MBA programs offered by reputed organizations of the country. NMAT 2020 will be conducted from November 4th 2020 to 30th January 2021. The medium of examination is English which has been conducted every year at regular intervals of time. The results are expected to be released in the month of February 2021. Candidates can download the result within 48 hours of its declaration.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for NMAT:
- The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum 50% aggregate as score.
- The candidate can apply the exam a maximum of 3 times including the times the candidate was unable to attend the exam.
- There is no age limit regarding the exam.
- 2-3 years of experience will be preferred during the admission.

NMAT Registration
The registration process for NMAT is conducted by GMAC. Registration process for NMAT began on September 14th 2020 and will end on 20th November 2020. The process includes the following steps:
- The applicant is required to visit the official website.
- Then create an account and proceed with the registration, by providing all the necessary details like educational qualification, experience etc. and keep the user id and password for future requirement.
- Candidate is then required to upload a photograph and select a school.
- Finally, submit the form by paying the application fees i. e. 2000 INR + taxes, but late fees charge an extra amount of 500 INR
NMAT 2021 Exam Pattern
This national level exam is conducted through online mode. Candidates give a 2 hour computer based exam consisting of MCQ type questions.
The entire question paper is divided into three sections:
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative skills
- Language Skills
The language skill section contains a total of 36 questions which has been allotted 28 minutes. Logical Reasoning section contains 36 questions which have been allotted 42 minutes. Quantitative Skills also contains 36 questions with a time limit of 52 minutes. There is no negative marking for any question. Each correct answer is awarded with 1 mark.

NMAT Result
NMAT results are declared on the official website. Candidates need to click on the link provided and type the user id and password generated at the time of registration. Then date of birth and essential credentials are to be typed after which the candidate will be able to see his/ her results.
NMAT Cut-off
The cut-off score of NMAT is accepted by more than 30 B-schools for MBA admission. Colleges short candidates based on both overall cut-off and sectional cut-off. Cut-off scores are usually set based on the number of B-schools participating for selecting the students based on their NMAT score for either their MBA/PGDM courses.
