Recently the conducting body of CAT exam has released the dates. The CAT exam will be going to be held on 27th November 2022. The exam will be held in two shifts on the same day.
CAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants who are willing to apply for the CAT Entrance exam 2022 should need to hold a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks or any equivalent degree
- Applicants who are belonging to Schedule Tribe or Schedule Caste should have 45% marks in their qualifying exam
- Applicants who are physically disabled will also need to secure 45% marks
- Final year applicants who are awaiting their results can also apply for the exam
Exam pattern and Duration of exam:
Common Admission Test will be available in three sections
The authority has not declared the total number of questions in the exam but the expected questions are 66
The last year’s exam pattern is given below:
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning- 20 questions
- Quantitative Ability- 22 Questions
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehensions- 24 Questions
- The exam duration of the CAT 2022 exam will be 120 minutes
- There will be some descriptive and multiple choice questions available in the exam
- There will be no tutorial provided before the exam, applicants are advised to check the official website on 18, Oct to check the tutorial;
CAT Exam Application Form:
Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill out the CAT Exam 2022 application form. To fill out the CAT application form, applicants need to visit the website and fill in the information correctly.
Follow the below to apply for CAT Exam 2022
- Go to the website
- Tab on the New Candidate Registration
- Fill in Name, DOB, Email Address, Category, Country, and mobile number
- After entering, all the information click on generate OTP, and a new OTP will generate
- After this, a new page will open
- Enter your educational and other information, as required
- Pay the application fee and submit the form
- The authority will reject the application form in case find any wrong information about the candidate
- The CAT exam application fees of Rupees 2200 must be submitted to successfully fill the application form (For General Categories)
- For PWD/ ST/ SC applicants the application fees will be Rupees 1100
Exam Centers of CAT Exam 2022:
The CAT exam 2022 will be held through only online mode and there are 425 test centers conducting this exam. 159 test centers in India, while others are outside of India. Applicants are advised to choose four exam centers at the time of filling out the application form.
Result of CAT Exam 2022:
The CAT result will be expected to be declared in the second week of January 2023.
